SFTP - SSH Settings

I would like help with the SFTP - SSH connector. There are settings for parallel and Maximum waiting runs, but I can't find any documentation on how this affects the connections. Could I get a run down on how these work in relation to SFTP connections? Thank you

The Parallel setting determines the number of concurrent connections or operations that can be executed simultaneously within a flow. Adjusting this setting allows you to control the degree of parallelism, which can enhance performance when dealing with multiple files or operations.

Now my two cent's with SFTP. Some SFTP servers may restrict the number of concurrent connections. Exceeding this limit can lead to connection errors or throttling.

As for the documentation, you can https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sftpwithssh/ but you will not find about "concurrent connections" because It really depends and you will have to test it.

So, if I have 100 files will the Trigger pick up 50 of them in one flow, using this image as an example, or will it queue up 50 flows, one pre file? What would be the best way to move 50 files with one connection?

Also, what's the Maximum waiting runs setting used for?

    For Trigger,
    • Multiple trigger events can be processed in parallel.
    • The degree of concurrency (e.g., 50) is set in the trigger settings.
    • What it should technical do? Start processing up to 50 flow instances concurrently when Triggered.
    • Maximum Waiting Runs refers to the maximum number of flow instances (triggered by events) that can remain in the queue while the flow is processing other instances.
This limit describes the highest number of flow runs that can be queued when the flow is at its maximum number of concurrent runs. Note: Additional triggers that arrive while the waiting runs limit is met might be re-tried by the connector. However, the retry attempts might not succeed if the maximum waiting limit continues to be met for an extended period of time. To ensure all triggers result in flow runs, leave the Concurrency Control setting off in the flow's trigger.

    Thank you, perfect!

Another question is there a better way to make a connection to bulk download SFTP files?
