Location Column in sharepoint list not defaulting to town/suburb

Hi All,

I have a sharepoint list that contains a location column.

Up until recently, a user would be able to just type in the suburb/town and select same as the geolocation.

However now, when you type in the town/suburb, it matches to businesses or local attractions in the area and does not display just the town/suburb as an option.

I want to be able to select just the town/suburb not using a whole address.

I have found a work around being that if you type the  TOWN, STATE, AREA CODE then it will bring up just the town. See screen shot 2.

Not sure if this was a recent update by MS or something with Bing Maps.

Appreciate any help.

    Hi @GordoPwrApp ,

Have you customized the form using PowerApps? It seems more like a SharePoint related issue.

    Best regards,

@v-jefferni I do have the list connected to a powerapp and use Power BI to export some results for mapping visuals using the location column. But yes, you're right, it is more of a sharepoint question which I have posted on the SP forums about. Just thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this issue.
