All "Wait for Content" type of actions not working

Any time of "Wait for Content" actions that I have are not working. Wait for web page content, wait for window content, etc.. PAD is simply skipping by them, or hanging on them waiting for content that is there, but it somehow must not be seeing it.

I have tried:

-on 3 different machines

-rebooting

-different browsers (Chrome & Edge)

-rolled back Chrome

Nothing has got me anywhere on this, and this is impacting all of my workflows. Is this a bug that has been reported?

A reliable fix is to ensure you have the latest Power Automate Desktop version and browser extensions installed (reinstall if needed), then replace "Wait for Content" with explicit wait actions like "Wait for Web Page to Load," "Wait for Window," or "Wait for Element to Appear" targeted to a specific selector instead of generic content waits. Also, double-check your UI selectors in the UI element pane and re-capture them, as older selectors may no longer be valid after browser updates. In most cases, re-installing the PAD Web Extension, refreshing UI elements, and updating PAD resolves the skipping/hanging issue.

@Nafiun2120 I have attempted nearly everything you mentioned here.

-All PAD installations, Chrome installations, and Browser Extensions were verified to be up to date - also tried rolling back Chrome and still nothing works

-All Wait for Content actions already are explicit - "Wait for Element to appear", etc..

-All UI Selectors were deleted and re-added, re-capturing them just in case a browser update, etc had changed something.

-PAD, Chrome, and Extensions were all uninstalled and reinstalled on all 3 machines as well.

None of the above has resolved PAD seemingly ignoring any "Wait for Content" type of actions. These flows had all been previously run 100's of times reliably. I'm at a loss.

Those are the only two results those actions have. Either the action continues (skips by them) or it keeps waiting for the element/content to appear (hanging on them waiting).

So if it "skips by them" it has found the content and so the action was successful and it stops waiting for it. And if it keeps waiting then it doesn't see the content and waits until the content appears or the action or the flow times out.

Most likely there is something wrong with your element selector.

Test the selector and see if it finds the element or gives error. So open the selector that your "Wait for content" is using and press "Test" when the content is visible in your screen:

If it gives error then try to modify the selector so it finds the element.

If you still need help please share screenshots of your flow and actions and the selector

I’m facing the same problem — my Wait for Web Element action doesn’t throw any error and just hangs until the flow times out.
Did you ever find out what caused it or how to fix it?
