Power Automate - Building Flows
Answered

Outlook 365 Calendar Event Automation

Posted on by 9
Hello, I am not experienced with Power Automate but am trying to learn. I am trying to build a flow that is triggered every time a new event is added to my Outlook calendar. The flow would add two additional 15 minute events to the same calendar. One would be in the 15 min before the new event and one would be in the 15 minutes immediately after the new event. Essentially i am trying to automatically block off 15 min before and after each meeting so I'm not continually scheduled back to back. Every time I write it I'm making mistakes with reference to the start and end times. Advice is greatly appreciated thank you!

@DBO_DV thank you - I've deleted all the prior flows. This is one I've made this morning to provide more information. I'm including all the information I see after it fails in the attached pictures. The error message is: Action 'Create_event_(V4)' failed: At least one property failed validation. clientRequestId: 4a62b3a3-46bd-4456-a22c-89151ff79e80 serviceRequestId: 34528f6f-c263-49eb-9577-968eed0f3cc6

Well, it's taken me quite a few tries but I finally figured it out on my own. I'm including screen grabs of how I set up the steps so that now every time a new event is added to my calendar, it automatically adds a 15 min event before and a 15 min event after the event set to busy so I don't end up in back to back meetings every  other day.
