I'm having a torrid time trying to make my project tracker user friendly.
Scenario:
A single sharepoint list is housing all my organization's campaigns for the year, as well as the tasks that make up that campaign. My org will not maintain individual lists per campaign, and so its critical all this is housed on a single list that is easy to drill down.
A "Main Campaign" lookup choice is utilized to help group together the tasks/items within each campaign, and create list views to help users organize their time. It allows the user to select the item/task that represents the campaign at large.
I'm trying to create a GANNT chart view, so have created a "Predecessors" lookup, where users can select the tasks required to be complete before the current task can be tackled.
My issue is I would like that "Predecessors" lookup to filter available choices to matching and displaying only items with the same Main Campaign value. Otherwise, users are presented with hundreds of existing items to choose from, and many have identical or similar names.
I know powerapps is likely the only option here, but after trying to configure something for several days now, nothing I try resolves. Any ideas?!?!
