Assigned User Ids Issue

Hi all,

My list has a 'Person or Group' column where one or more company users are defined.

When creating a task in Planner, using either 'Person of Group item' or 'Person or Group Email' in the Assigned User Ids field gets the flow stuck. Obviously, another field has to be used in the Assigned User Ids. Or do I set the task assigned to users in some other way?

Any bright ideas?

    Hi @ThimiosSp

You mentioned "using either 'Person of Group item' or 'Person or Group Email' in the Assigned User Ids field gets the flow stuck"? Could you please explain how you mapping this?

    Hi @ThimiosSp

Because your person or group have more than one users then you need to collect all the email address before when you create the task. Declare a variable called UserEmails as string. Then above the create task add a compose to map the person email. Using the compose output append with semi-colon to collect all the emails. Finally use the variable to map the user emails under the create task step. Please see below.

Finally outside the loop under the create task you can map the UserEmails variable under the Assigned User Ids.

    Thanks

    Hi @ThimiosSp

That is my person group column name of my SharePoint list.

    Thanks

I have one column only (Person Or Group). Should I only use this one?

    Hi @abm,

If I declare a variable above task as per your instructions, I get an operation error.

If I try to do that at the beginning, there are no available fields to use.

What is it that I am doing wrong here?

    Hi @ThimiosSp

You can't declare a variable under the IF statement. Declare it outside and use the set variable under the IF condition.

    Thank you @abm,

I've simplified the flow by removing the condition. Yet, I get the following error on the 1st compose step.

    Hi @ThimiosSp

Its a multiselect filed and returned as an array. Please check my earlier post regarding how I iterate the details.
