Web Textbox Change Event not Triggered

Hi,

 

On the below page, "Continue" button is disabled until the user enters min 5 characters in user name then the button gets enabled, but if text is filled by PAD, the button remains disabled, apparently, the change event isn't triggered.

    Use 'Send keys' action to populate the field.

    This would be my last resort, I prefer something without the risk of keeping the page on the front and request the user to keep his hands off.

    @Emad_Abed an alternative to "Send Keys", would be the "Populate text field in window" action that should work as well.

    Thank you for the hint, it is better than SendKeys indeed, although has the same front window and focus limitations.
