Let user who launched flow to create new opportunity on dynamics365

Good afteroon,

I am creating one flow which is creating one new opportunity in Dinamics365 CRM triggered when a new sharepoint list item is created.

I would find one way to let the action which creates the new opportunity in Dynamics365, to be launched as the user which triggers the flow and not the connector's owner.

Is that possible?

Best regards,

Stefano

    Hi @Stefano__

Assuming your Flow is triggered by a Flow button (manually trigger a Flow)

You can define run only users for the Flow

In the run only users section, you can define that the connections should be run under the context of the user running the Flow

    Hi @Stefano__ ,

Do you mean that the user who created the new record needs to be the user who created the item?

If this is the case, I am afraid that relying on the current features of MS Flow is very difficult to achieve. The connection of Create a new record action needs to be pre-configured.

Therefore, before the execution of Flow, it is determined that the user who created the record is the Flow maker. Changes cannot be made dynamically during Flow execution.

Another alternative you might consider using is to use Update a record action to assign record and update the Owner.

@RezaDorrani, my flow is not currently triggered by a button but when a new item is added to one SharePoint list.

Otherwise that would be the correct solution!

    Hi @Stefano__ ,

Maybe you could consider assigning a record.

    Best Regards,
