Hi, I need to create a data table by pasting the variable values for a row inside the table. After adding all the rows, the data table should be converted into an Excel file having column headers.

Use write to excel sheet activity and give the data table as input

    Put coloumn as 1

    And row as1

If you want to append means

Then use get free row or column activity then get give getfree row variable as row in write to excel sheet activity

    Hope this helps

It just seems like your workbook is hidden. See here on how to un-hide it: https://excelchamps.com/excel-basics/hide-unhide-workbook/

I've seen it sometimes being caused by PAD. Usually works fine if you make PAD use a visible instance.
