Sharepoint List - When an Item is modified, not consistently triggering a flow

I have a sharepoint list used to track work in our team.

I have created a flow so that when an item is changed to have a different team member assigned to it, it will send them an email. However, if multiple changes to other columns are made in quick succession for the same item, it will sometimes not register that the assignee has actually changed.

This seems to be caused by a limit in flow run frequency, where, if more than one change is made, it will only run when the final change is made? As a result, each change creates a new version and if the assignment isn't the final change, it will appear constant across the changes.

Is there a way to get my flow to only be triggered when a certain column is changed?

Alternatively, is there a way to check if a column has been changed in the last x minutes, rather than by version?

Thank you!

I'm not sure how to link my flow so it can be troubleshot here, please let me know if there is an easy way to do this.

    Hi @Mitr ,

Is there a way to get my flow to only be triggered when a certain column is changed?

    You could try this method.

You could check the item's 'modified on' property to get the items that has been changed in the last x minutes.

    Best Regards,

The way I fixed this was by using a hidden column with the 'previous assignee'. I then check if there is a match between current and previous assignee. If not, I update the previous to match and send an email. Seems to be working for me.
