Environment Variables (DataSource) - cannot see SharePoint site from a Service Account

I'm trying to use DataSource Environment variables to connect to SharePoint.

 

The SharePoint site has a service account as one of it's owners, the service account is a connection. Yet when I use the service account it cannot see the SharePoint site - if i use my personal account I get a list of all I can access?

 

Why am I not getting a similar list for my service account?

    Further figuring out.

     

    If I use a Service Account for my Lists, but parent it off a Site linked to my personal account. I can view the lists.

     

    I just cannot use a Service Account to make an environment variable for a SharePoint Site

     

    Is this a SharePoint permissions thing? Both my service account and my own account are set as Site Owners
