Reassign Approver Manually if Approver is Out Of Office

I have a flow that requires 4 different approvers to review a form and approve or reject; however, if one of them is out of office then the flow stops. I could set it up to add a secondary approver automatically based on if the original approver is out of office but the problem is that whoever is secondary for that original approver can change depending on if multiple people are out for holiday.

Is there a way to setup the flow or app so that a 3rd party manager, like myself, can manually change who is the approver while the flow is running?

Only the person the approval is assigned to can reassign it after the approval is sent. What I do instead is have people add the email address of their backup to their out of office message. When assigning an approval I have it check the out of office message and use that person for the approval if they are going to be out of the office.

This is possible for the flow to parse the out of office message and assign the secondary? I see that this could be a problem if multiple emails are on the out of office message but what function in the flow would be responsible for finding the secondary's email address?

I'm not sure you can do this dynamically like you're asking.  You'd have to build that logic in.  There is an action called 'Get mail tips for a mailbox.'  If a user is OOO, mail tips will have a value.  You could create conditions off of this to send to the correct users.

In my case I parse the message and extract the first email address by focusing on the first use of '@' in the OOF. Multiple emails in the OOF would cause confusion. So I admit it is dependent on people formatting their out of office the right way.  The other alternative is to create a list of people and their alternates in a data source and check that if an OOF is set.
