Remove ' ' from email body

Hello,

I've been using the 'Email me with a list of upcoming Calendar events' template but have added an extra column for the email Body. Whenever there is nothing in the column, it displays instead.

How can I get rid of this and leave it blank? It's the same for all returns within the email body.

Many thanks

    Hi @khaycock

Can you share a screenshot of the flow that you have created so far? For the email body, if you are retrieving it from another email action, you can use the HTML to text converter and pass the body to that action and further use the outputs of that action to skip the extra code snippets.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi @yashag2255

I'm slightly reluctant to post it all on here because it's so massive but it's exactly the same as this: https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/99892410786e4d6888f27ae380125a80/email-me-with-a-list-of-upcoming-calendar-events

Except I've added the following things to include Body:

    body 1.PNGbody 2.PNG

I thought it might have something to do with this part as it replaces other similar bits of text? The expression is:

    replace(replace(body('Create_HTML_table'),'<','<'),'>','>')

    body 3.PNG

All of this then goes into an email body here:

    body 4.PNG

Does that help? Thanks for your help!

    Hi @khaycock

You can try the below pattern. This would get rid of all the "<, / , >" as well.

Do I replace the 'Compose BodyToSend' section then? Your image was based on when an email arrives

    Hi @yashag2255

I've gone to add it after Create HTML table, but its added an apply to each around it and now doesn't give me the option to pick the input from the HTML to text result.

    Hi @khaycock

As you are getting multiple emails, it is switching to the array. What you can do is, append the body of all emails to a string and then pass that to the html to text converter and then extract the plain text. You can also do it individually in the apply to each and then append all the plain text to a variable.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi @yashag2255

Sorry I'm very new to all this and have pretty much been using the template rather than trying to do any of this myself so we will have to dumb it down a bit!!

As far as I was aware, the body of all emails was already in the BodyToSend string and then the next step would be pass to HTML but it didn't work that way. Have I missed something?

    Hi @yashag2255

I'm still working on this as I still don't quite understand your last message. Am I meant to append the BodyToSend to a string and then pass that through the HTML to Text before the HTML table is created?
