Hello everyone! I have a list on SharePoint where I usually attach PDF files, and I wanted to create a flow where, via PowerApps, I can send an email to someone with the PDF file that was previously registered in that list.
I tried this flow: Get Attachment > Get Attachment Content > then send a email;
It seems to be working partially, because when I receive the email and try to open the PDF file, it shows that the file is corrupted.
Hi @sales_ary ,
To Address this issue ensure that the attachments are named with the .pdf extension. When sending the email, use the “File Content” dynamic content for attachments. Remove the .pdf extension from the attachment content. It should be just the raw file content.
Confirm that the files in your SharePoint document library are indeed PDFs.
For more detailed guidance, you can refer to this video tutorial- https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Webinars-and-Video-Gallery/Send-email-with-multiple-attachments/m-p/120193
Please give kudos and mark as solution if it helps.
Thanks,
Sandeep Mishra
Why not just send a link to the file instead? Will cut down on your work, result in less storage bloat in Outlook/Exchange, and give people a collaboration point instead of a static copy in their inbox.
