Flow fails on a filtered table

Hi

I saw post from 2019 querying the same issue I am still facing. I have a flow which needs to list rows present in a table which several staff access. When one of the team is filtering the table (even if they choose to filter just their own view), the flow fails. Is there a way around this please? I would have thought that if they are choosing to filter just their own view, then the main power automate wouldn't fail?

Many thanks!

Excel is not a very good choice for Power Platform applications for reasons that you have encountered. It has problem with parallel read and write operations.

Are you able to move your data to a SharePoint List instead? You can simply upload your Excel and create a SP List.

This is definitely something which I'd like to try but I've never created a Sharepoint list! Many thanks. Can my team still access the Sharepoint list and use it in the same way as Excel? For example, can they filter the list etc.? Much appreciated.

OK, I've kind of got this working. However, my team need to be able update the Excel file which then causes the Flow to do something else. Is there a way for power automate to check for a particular row in a list rather than Excel? For example, I have a schedule which checks for a certain value in a row / column and then sends an email. Is it possible to do this kind of logic with a List instead?
