Change Name & Email of the Requester into the Approval Email Sent

Hello All,

I have created an automated workflow that starts once users add, modify any file from a document library in the SharePoint. The flow works well, except it put my name and email as a creator, instead of the starter of the flow (who trigger the flow).

Why it is showing my name as created by? And how can I set up the approval to only display the name of the requester of the flow?

Note: I am the owner of this flow.

@VictorIvanidze no sir it is a different question. What I am asking here is to remove my name from the approval request, as mentioned in the image.

    Hi @Fatimah_33

The approval action is using your name because it has been authenticated from your credentials. What trigger are you using in the flow? For a flow that has a manual trigger type, you can define it to use the connection of the person running the flow and only then it will display the details of the person who triggered it. You cannot change that manually on the action.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hello @yashag2255

My flow starts once the action is performed. It is an automated workflow. I cannot change the credentials connection. It is log in with my credentials.

Is there a way in the workflow I can change or hide my name & email?

    Hi @Fatimah_33

Nope. It cannot be changed for Automated Flows and you cannot create another workflow to change that information. If you think this should be added as a feature, you can create an idea post here or upvote existing similar ones. https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/idb-p/MPAIdeas
