Removing white space from SharePointIntegration Form

Hello everyone!

I have a SharePointIntegration type form. The display measurements are:

  • Orientation: Portrait.
  • Size: Large (444 x 790)

I added a header (modern control) to the screen. The total height of the form and header is 790px. The width is (parent.width).

PROBLEM: at the bottom of the app (form), meaning when it ends, it appears white down to the Windows taskbar. Is that behavior from SharePoint or Power Apps? Can't it be made transparent so that the background list is visible? It looks terrible in white.

PS: I don't want to lengthen the form; I want it to be scrollable as it is now.

    Hi @FlowFalcon

    Do you have the Enhanced Embedded Experience Settings Enabled? Unfortunately, its... well, depends. It could be from PA, or it could be from the Embedding itself.

    Is that some type of Overlay flyin screen? if So, it wouldn't do that unless certain settings are on etc.

    If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    Thank You

    Hi @FLMike
    I just disabled that option (Optimize Embedded Experience), published the changes, refreshed (several times) but everything remains the same as before.
    This happens when I view it on a 27" screen, because if I view it from the 14" laptop screen, the white part is no longer visible.

    LAPTOP 14"

    Hi @FlowFalcon

    Is the 27 the same resolution as the 24? As I wonder if the Aspect Ratio is the same. If the resolutions are the same it shouldn't do that.

    Hi @FLMike
    Yes, It is the same resolution. The only difference is the scale.
    27"= 1920 x 1080 (scale 100% recommended)
    14"= 1920 x1080 (scale 150% recommended)
    Mike, tell me if you understood my request... what I need is for the form to remain "floating" and for the SharePoint list to be visible in the background, but instead, it fills in with that white strip until it reaches the taskbar. Is what I'm asking for possible to do?

    ahhh ok now that makes sense,

    woops you said you didnt want to extend the form.

    What you could do.. if you haven't solved it already is to place a control there, like a container with no border etc and set it to the color you want.

    You would use code to determine if it NEEDS to be visible and at what height depending on the header + form etc height and screen height

    Anyway you probably solved this long ago

    hey

    this was my first project when i started with powerapps, i customized the ootb sharepoint form with power apps.

    one thing i learned is that i wont do it again and rather build  real app than using this again.

    until the end i did not find a solution on how to make the form look good, there were 2 scrollbars next t each other, white spaces and other things.

    i havent either found other solutions online to this.

    maybe think about transforming this to a power apps app.

    if my answer helped please mark as verified answer so we can help others.
