Help With Sorting Uploaded MS Form Files based on Answer in Form

Hi All,

I am trying to sort files uploaded in MS forms into folders in my one drive based on an answer they selected in the form. I am trying to do this in Power Automate but no luck.

For example, In the form - the user selects what item they are reviewing, and then rates different attributes of the item they selected from a drop down. At the end of the form, the user is asked to upload a photo along with their feedback. I would like the photos they are uploading to be sorted into folders based on the item they picked in the drop down. If they are reviewing the "red" item, their uploaded photos are saved in the "red folder". If they repeat the form and select the "blue" item to review, any photos uploaded in that survey will be sorted in the "blue folder".

Hi there,

Basically, all you're going to do is grab the item type and stuff that into a variable.

So, for example, you might create a variable named txtFolder. You will use an initialize variable to point the field to the request type.

Then, when you go to put your folder address into the destination, you'll use the txtFolder to build that URL.

For example....
