Power Automate Flow not recognizing file

Hello everyone! First post here 🙂

I am trying to create a flow that takes an email attachment, which is an excel that will later have a script applied to it. What I am doing is taking this attachment and placing it within a folder. I want to make it to where if a file with the report name is already in the folder it will delete it and replace it with the newest one, or if it does not, create the file in the folder. I am having a problem were it is skipping my if condition showing successful at 0 seconds.

    Hi @JesseBlack

Pleasure. Now normally I'd go into a long winded. this but you are new so Welcome welcome welcome 🙂

Thank you for posting your flow, but we need to understand the flow.

    1. What is the Value you are putting in the condition? Is it even a string, is it a number, what is its value.

    Let me stop there.

    Please do this

Above the condition (yes above it), put a compose, and output the value that you think should work in the Condition

But Michael it won't let me, then do this

    Close the condition

Below the Condition add the Compose

Now move the condition Under it

We can then see what it is and know why its not working, and why its not the value you believe it should be as it could be as simple as do a toLower() on both sides so that they are in lower case and will match.

    Lets do that first

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    Thank You
