Get details from a one on one Teams chat

Hi, I've been trying to get the message details from one on one teams chats but I see it only gives you the option to select channel or group chat.

Is there a way to extract details from a one on one chat?

Hi @LB-20090315-0

You can try send http request action coming under MS Teams connectors.

Refer below documentation for MS Graph usage to get one to one chat details

Also Use the List chats action to list all chat details which include the id and use that id in the graph api as shown below

I've created it as you describe, hopefully it will work.

Just to check, my end goal is to create a flow that will notify me if a message in teams has gone a period of time without being read.

This is the outline I'm working on,

I got stuck at get message details because it didn't recognise one on one chats, as you know. Can I just check I can use the MS Graph request in this?

There is a graph that helps with one to one chat i believe -

Would recommend to give a try.

But just want to check - how you are checking whether a message is unread or not as i did not see any unread option in dynamic content of get message details or the above graph api ?

@Nived_Nambiar I have no idea. That's what I'm trying to figure out, if it's actually possible or not. It would be helpful if we can do this but not the end of the world if we can't so if there is no way to receive notifications that a message is unread, that is okay.

Hi,

After doing some research - i could find that there is no way for teams message to be determined whether they are read or not something which works for email messages.
