I've posted a coupe of times recently with date struggles. Hopefully this will be the last question.

I'm processing invoices and populating a workday EIB excel template.

The template has a field for date, but my 'date' field from PAD still seems to be text.

e.g.
here I have populated a couple of rows of dates. You can see the highlighted cells are formatted as a date.
But, excel doesnt seem to have converted the PAD input as a date field correctly. If I double click into the cell you can see the alignment shift to the right and the input converted to a 'date'

All I have done here is double click the top date cell and it is now a correct excel 'date'. This wouldn't normally be an issue but Workday wont process the file without correct date fields.

In PAD I'm populating the cell like this;

    I think it might be because you are inserting a text value and not datetime value.

    So what if you either remove the Text expression and use this: =DateValue(ReadCell(CurrentItem, 1), "en-GB")

    Or if it does it in wrong format then format it before Write to excel action with Convert text to datetime -action. Then just use the output of that action.
    So create a variable that is date time value and not text value and use that in the value to write in excel
