Excel Online cloud connector started giving errors

Goodday,

Since Sunday night an Excel Online CloudConnector is constantly generating errors like below. Any ideas how to resolve this?

The specific Excel file / Table on SharePoint is still available and does not seem to have any issues.

List rows present in a table Error Message: Cloud connector call failed with status code 'GatewayTimeout'. Update1:

Goodday everyone and thank you for the quick responses!

After logging in this morning issue seems to have been resolved out of itself... Last error came in last night at 11 PM (Flow runs every hour). The run at midnight and onwards completed without any errors.

Yesterday I completed several actions (updating PAD and rzaneti suggestions) to resolve the issue, all didn't help.
Curiously enough similar and same Excel Online actions in seperate flows have been running without issues on the same Connection Reference since the issue occured.

All in all good news the flow started running again, but still quite a mystery what may have caused this.

Update2:

It appears to me that the Excel Online (Business) connector is somewhat clunky at the moment (perhaps only for the Europe region?). While working in another Desktop flow the Add a row to a table action (also Excel Online) doesn't recognize updates to the referring Excel table. Seems there are some synchronizing issues at work concerning this cloud connector.

Luckily all my other flows seem to have no issues, so fingers crossed Microsoft will fix the connector and everything will run like smoothly again

There are many users reporting similar issues related to the Excel connector here in the Community Forum. I'm pasting below an answer that worked for one of these users (step 2, specifically).

    --
1-  Just remove and include again your Excel action.
2 - If it doesn't work, add a new connection to Excel. You can keep the same account, but just authenticate again.
3 - If it doesn't work, create a copy of this flow, and try to run it.

After you run these steps, please let me know about the results.

Let me know if it works for you or if you need any additional help!

If this solved your issue, please mark it as Accepted Answer.
👍 If it helped, feel free to give it a like!

I am also having the same problems, this started after the microsoft update. I hope they solve this. Because now when going to configure the connector is showing "bad-gateway".

Solution for Gateway Timeout Error in Power Automate

    Hello everyone,

I encountered a Gateway Timeout error while working with the "List rows present in a table" action in Power Automate. After some troubleshooting, I found a solution that worked for me. Here are the steps:

    1. Add New Connections:

      • Go to the Connections section in Power Automate.

      • Add one or two new connections to Excel.

    2. Edit the Flow:

      • Click Edit on the flow that is experiencing the issue.

    3. Change Connection:

      • Click on the Excel block within the flow.

      • Scroll to the bottom where it shows your email and has a Change Connection option next to it in blue (as shown in the picture).

      • Click on Change Connection and select one of the new connections you just created (as shown in the picture).

    4. Verify and Save:

      • Go back to the flow, and the table should now be loaded.

      • Save the flow and re-run it.

    5.

This resolved the issue for me, and I hope it helps others facing the same problem.

    Best regards,
    Ahmed Elbon
