Removed / Removing Of Functionality From Designer V2 - Expression Editor

I've noticed that the expression editor now no longer functions as it used to when building expressions in the old V2 designer.

It used to:

Suggest functions
Autocomple if you select a suggestion
Allow wrapping of:
1. Apostrophes/Quotes
2. Square brackets
3. Curly brackets
... and more

Now it's just acting like a slightly more advanced text field. At best it will maintain a tab level ...

Now why on earth might these features be disappearing from the V2 designer right now? 🤔

((( all tested in latest Firefox Nightly and EDGE for Business )))

Yeah also noticed some differences. Sometimes the expression editor also bugs: can't see the top of the editor. I am also missing the expression creator based on examples functionality. This was quite helpful in the old designer. Can't find it in the new one.

Aye, cheers, @Tjan ... yes, this is actually a *problem* with the old designer ... which has magically started occurring recently.

But, yes ... we cannot rely on the new designer because it doesn't work properly.

It's like the removal of the Graph API endpoints from the Office 365 Groups connector all over again. Where they said the HTTP actions would be in the appropriate connectors ... but they never appeared. ... soooo ... Removing functionality from the old before that functionality is actually ready in the new!
