DataTable crashes when adding more than one field

Chrome browser - Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)

 

PowerApps Web Studio Editor 

PowerApps Version: 2.0.663

 

Steps to repeat:

Add DataTable control to a DataCard in a Form - Formmode = New 

Set the Datatable datasource to a SharePoint list

Add one field from Property Panel Data Tab - OK

 

Add another field to the DataTable or try to resize the DataTable and the following is always shown

WebAuthoring abnormal termination.

    Hi KC,

     

    Thanks for feedback. I can reproduce this issue on my side.

     

    On PowerApps studio for Web, add a DataTable control to a DataCard in an EditForm. Set the data source of the DataTable to a SharePoint list, add one field from Property Panel Data Tab, everything seems fine.


    An error would occur if you are trying to add another field or even change to another field.

    On PowerApps studio for Windows, with the same steps, the app would be closed without any warning.

     

    I will try to report this issue on my side and back to you once I got any response.

    I just test this issue again with the same steps, it seems that it has been fixed.

    Hi Mabel,

    Adding a column or removing a column no longer throws the error but moving a column to another position is causing the error to be thrown.

    However, the error is not thrown if you reposition a column in a DataTable that is not embedded within a Form DataCard.
