Hi there,

I am trying to collect the data of visitors in MS Form and updating the Sharepoint list. As a part of the requirement, I need to collect the date along with the time.  As MS Form do not support date and time collection, I have a drop down to choose the time from.

I have a Date and Time field in Sharepoint list. How do I extract the substring of the time in Power automate and update the same in the Time portion of the Date and Time field in Sharepoint? Any help is highly appreciated.

    Hi @PowerUser19 ,

You could try the following method:

Because the time string in the flow will be considered as UTC by default, it may be need to convert time zone.

    Hi @v-zhoqian-msft ,

Thank you so much for your response. I tried the above. Still quite didn't get the right number updated in Sharepoint. May I please know what I am missing here?

@v-zhoqian-msft  below is the set up I already have in Power Automate setting (I live in this zone). Not sure if the "source time zone " field in the flow needs to be changed.

Because of the default set up I had in SharePoint, I did use the Source TimeZone as AEST and destination as UTC which resolved the issue. Thanks @v-zhoqian-msft
