Does anyone know why when I remain a Layout container it is changing the size of the container from what I all ready have set?

That’s strange behavior, never come across,
normally when you change layout names it does refresh automatically. Did you saved the app and check again
It constantly happens to me, if you rename a container, the containers inside will resize I would say randomly, anyhow shrinking.

@EM_ Yes does but you can changed back, always its best to rename it before you add any controls, for me I don't use that much container and what I use is components including galleries easy to change and you can reuse it on a different apps.
In my case the resize was caused by PA adding AlignInContainer: =AlignInContainer.SetByContainer to all nested containers, overriding the custom alignment I had set there before.
Now you can rename the containers without any issue
I experience the same thing. Currently, I just use the properties to reset the layout. I'll be glad if anyone finds a permanent solution.

very old topic I know, but I had this problem today:
It only happened when I had two apps open in tabs (Chrome). Closed a tab and it stopped happening !?
I just came across this bug as well. But it's not happening with all containers. Seems to be the older ones I hadn't modified much. So annoying! I am trying to make sure everything is clean before I transfer ownership.
