Dear Power Automate community,
I searched now for some time but couldn't find a final answer to my question: Is it possible to assign specific rights and roles within a Canvas app to specific users?
My use case is this: I have a request form, where "standard" users can request support from a department working with certain external suppliers. These suppliers for example should be created and maintained by another user group, let's call them "admin" users. Ideally I would love to do this in the app itself and not sending my technical unexperienced users to a Sharepoint list or something. So the "admin" button (so to say) which goes to a Screen, where the suppliers can be managed would only be visible for this specific user group.
Maybe I am missing something, but it seems like a standard feature, and I am probably to blind to find it 😁
Thank you in advance for your kind support.
What "standard" feature is it exactly you are looking for? A freebie screen that lets you add things to a list?
If you mean in your app(I dont know do you mean canvas or model driven??), you can check a persons Role(s) and then allow them to see/navigate to things versus if they do not have the role.
So in your case, you could have their "admin" role or whatever that is, and show them the Admin screens, or show them the other screens
Is that what you mean?
If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others
Cheers
Thank You
