Hello the community,

I executed a flow of approval on a file in my sharepoint library.  But  when I click on the "working flow" of the file to see the execution history, nothing appears(You can see in the picture). What can i do to show the history of the flow?

Thank you!

    @Anonymous ,

    In order to view the flow history, you need to open the flow landing page.

    Go to https://make.powerautomate.com/ and then you'll see the flow (if it is shared with you)

    The history appears down here.

    Hi, @SudeepGhatakNZ ,Thank you for the suggestion, which is very helpful!

    However, I am still wondering how the record of work flow in the picture below. Because on the site of Microsoft, it  says the history of workflow will disappear 60 days after it is executed(https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/office/%C3%A0-propos-des-flux-de-travail-d-approbation-078c5a89-821f-44a9-9530-40bb34f9f742#accessfor60  in the section "Review Approval workflow results and creat reports).

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    The screenshot you provided seems to be associated with SharePoint 2010.

    That version of SharePoint is on-prem and uses a different workflow engine (not Power Automate).

    To view the history of the workflow you need to click on the Column associated with the workflow (which you did).

    Since I can't read the text, I can't tell what is it complaining about. Are you sure the workflow did execute?

    Hi,@SudeepGhatakNZ

    The work flow did execute. But the work flow does not appear in my sharepoint site.  The text on the webpage complains that there is not workflow associated to the sharepoint site.

    if my sharepoint version is 2010, maybe the situation can be changed after it is upgraded to sharepoint 2013?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    No, SP 2013 is also on-prem. You will have to move to SharePoint Online (Office 365) to use power automate. You can also consider SP 2016 but you will need an on-prem gateway additionally.

    Hi @SudeepGhatakNZ

    In fact, the version of SharePoint that I use is SharePoint Online and Power automate execute without problem with the documents in the SharePoint sites.

    According to the tutorial of Microsoft,  i have to do the following steps to create a flow in SharePoint(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/all-about-approval-workflows-078c5a89-821f-44a9-9530-40bb34f9f742#whatcantdo😞

    1. Open the list or library for which you want to add the workflow.

    2. On the ribbon, click the List or Library tab.

      Note: The name of the tab can vary with the type of list or library. For example, in a calendar list the tab is named Calendar.

    3. In the Settings group, click Workflow Settings.

    4. On the Workflow Settings page, under Show workflow associations of this type, specify if you want the workflow to run on the document, list, or a folder and then click Add a workflow.

    5. Complete the first page of the association form.

      But the problem is that I do not have the page when i do as the instrction.  Where should this page appear? Does it appear in the server of my company?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    The instructions you have included are for SharePoint  designer workflows that are different to Power Automate

    SharePoint Designer Workflows Vs. Microsoft Power Automate (alrafayglobal.com)

    You can to that page via the Library settings and clicking Add a workflow.

    @SudeepGhatakNZ  hi!

    Is the screen shot you showed me  from Sharepoint designer?

    The screenshot is from the Library settings page of an SP 2010 site.
