I want a combo box that when you pull it down it displays 3 entries that are people fields. I have a SP group of 3 people and set that group as the "Choose From" setting on that column.

I've made the SP Person column the source of the Combo box with items of

Choices([@LMTS].Approver)    LMTS is the SP list name and Approver is the column name of the people picker.
 
I want a single select.  I can search and get one of the three, but can't display all 3 choices upon clicking on the
combo box
because the user isn't going to necessarily know the name of any of the three.
 
When I make other people pickers that aren't limited and click on the combo chevron it opens and shows the first 5 or so
people available to choose from, but using 
the group as the Choose From setting doesn't show anything.  it's not obvious what's going on.
 
If this can't be done (which I find hard to believe) is there a best practice way to do this.  I don't want people to
have to access the app to change the people in the list.
 
Seems like a pretty standard thing but I can't get it working and there seem to be no answers. 
I simply want to click on the combo box, see the three choices and allow the user to 
choose one of them.
