Exceeding the 2000 record limit

Hello everyone 🙂

I was hoping for some advice or a guide that details how to exceed the 2000 limit within a gallery.

I have a gallery, currently named "Gallery2", i have 3 separate tables all part of the same data source that i would want to have within the same gallery. How would i go about doing this?

I've seen that these may need to be setup as collections and then something done after this, but i haven't done this before and not sure if that's correct.

Thanks very much in advance.

Chris

Not possible to exceed the limit, that's why it's a limit.

@RandyHayes Explains it nicely here, might be worth a read

No one wants to scroll through that many items.

    Hello Both - @Drrickryp & @RJM07

I am not wanting all 2000 records to be present at the same time, i agree that would be too many regardless. There would be filters elsewhere but i would want all 3 tables accessable within the same gallery and ability to edit rows within the gallery that then update the data source.

So from the link you sent, this sounds like what i would like to happen:

"Also...a little known aspect of PowerApps - a Gallery is capable of getting over 2000 records.  It will not get them all at one time, but instead it will get it as the user scrolls through the gallery.  When they near the bottom of the Gallery, PowerApps will go to the datasource to gather more records.  It will continue to do this past any 2000 record limit.  However, for this feature to work, it is highly dependent on the formula in the Items property of your Gallery."

    Thanks

    Chris
