How to use variable initialization

Apps created with "PowerApps" I am making a flow to write to an Excel file with "PowerAutomate".

 

When the value to enter a value  in "PowerApps" is blank, Using initialize variables (type: string) in the "PowerAutomate" flow causes an error. Is there a way around it?

    Use the coalesce function:

    Coalesce(parameterFromPowerApps,’’)

    There is no Coalesce in "Add new step", how do I do it?

    Coalesce() is a function. You need to use in add an expression (fx). Here is an example:
