I know you can start a button flow by adding /run to the end of the Flow's URL. However, can you also include the value of a trigger variable as part of the URL? I cannot find anything that shows this can be done, so I don't think it is possible.
I have a process for legal contracts that once they are approved, the workflow pauses until 30 days before the contract expiration date, then it continues to notify the person who is responsible for the contract to see if it needs to be renewed and then proceeds accordingly. This is in a legacy SharePoint 2013 workflow.
Since Power Automate flows need to complete within 30 days, I thought I would build a scheduled flow that runs every day to check for contracts that expire in 30 days, and then send a notification to the contract holder with a link to a button flow that they can click on to initiate the renewal process. However, I would need them to enter the ID of the related item so that when the button flow runs it can get that item with all of the metadata.
I know I could provide the link and then tell the user, "to renew this contract, click here and when prompted, please enter contract #1234." But it would be much slicker if I could just provide that information as part of the link so the user does not need to input the value.
