How to get outlook Mail ID Dynamicaaly in Microsoft Flow through Send an Email (V2) Action

When someone responds to custom action(Trigger) in kaizala, I am sending an email notification. Now I am having 2 Issues with my requirement.

1. In *To - I should give Email ID Dynamically. That means in my Trigger action I am having a Kaizala Group in which respective Group Admins and Members will be present.

Is there any option to keep Admin Mail ID's of that Group in *To address

2. In CC - I should give Email ID Dynamically. That means, Responder Name is there in Dynamic Content. With help of this Responder Name I should get his/her Outlook Mail ID in CC.

Is there any option to get Mail ID based on this Responder Name(UserName) of Outlook.

    Hi @Anonymous,

You can use the Get contacts (V2) action to get the email according to the display name of a user, for example:

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Please try:

    Chandu eq 'T'

Based on the Responder Name from Kaizala Action, Email ID should display.

I didn't understand what Chandu eq 'T'. Could you explain it briefly.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Here filter query is using the ODATA query, the syntax that find the specific value should use column eq 'value', the "eq" is short for "equal".

    https://www.odata.org/documentation/odata-version-2-0/uri-conventions/

Because you want to get the Mail ID based on this Responder Name, we are supposed to use the ODATA query to get the responder contact according to the displayName. So the Filter query should be:

    displayName eq 'Responder Name'.

I should get Mail ID based on ResponderName. Here, ResponderName is the DisplayName of Outlook 365 User.

I am Having a Kaizala Group called Kaizala Demo, in which I am having an action. Whenever that action is Performed by any Kaizala Demo Group Member, then an Email Notification must be sent to: Which group member performed the action (in CC Address)

If you observe the below image, In Dynamic Content: Responder Mobile Number, Name, Profile Picture URL and User ID are there, which are related to Outlook 365. But, why I am not getting Responder Email which is related to outlook user profile like: Responder Mobile Number, Name, Profile Picture URL and User ID.

In the CC Address, I tried by keeping displayName eq ResponderName(from Dynamic Content), still I am getting error as: Bad Request.

    Hi @Anonymous,

The action is Get contacts (V2) action, not send an email action, and there should have two single quotes on both sides of Name:

I tried as per your Suggestion. The flow ran Successfully. But I am not getting Email Notification.

In Get Contacts (V2) action displayName eq 'Chandu T' has came in Filter Query. But, in Outputs field Value is [ ] empty. (Email ID of Chandu T not came in Value[ ])

Thus, Apply to each and Apply to each 2 didn't function well as you can see it in below Image.

    Hi @Anonymous,

If not get any return from the get contact, please check this display name whether correct.

    Hi @v-litu-msft

Yes, the displayName is Correct. Because I am getting that DisplayName Dynamically.
