Hi!

I new to Power Automate and am having trouble figuring out how to connect to a SharePoint List so that I can update records in it from an API feed.  There also seems to be differences between the  Desktop and Web Version(??no connectors??).   Not sure what I need and would appreciate some guidence.

@zBestData You should use Power Automate cloud/web version for it. Refer it: https://www.annajhaveri.com/power-automate/rest-api-to-create-and-update-sharepoint-list-items-from-power-automate for solution.

Power automate desktop(RPA):  good for creating automated desktop centric flows. For instance, automating legacy systems that does not have an API etc.
Power automate cloud: It is an online workflow service which helps in automating actions across most common apps and services. For instance SharePoint, Lists etc.

    Hope it helps!!

    Cheers,

    Ankesh

@zBestData , to answer the part of your question that says "Not sure what I need", you need to go to

    https://flow.microsoft.com/

Login to it and those will be the Cloud Flows where you will find the in-built connectors.
