When a zip file is added to a SharePoint library extract file contents

I am trying to use the above Flow template to unzip a zip file and save the contents... but when I test the Flow, it times out, and I receive an error message saying that the trigger has not been met. Can anyone advise where I'm going wrong here please?

1. Here, I've specified which site, library and folder the zip file will be found in. I've left the condition as it is:

2. Next, I've just added the site addresses and left the other fields as they are:

I thought that if I was going to run into trouble, it would be because I hadn't filled in the Extract Folder section properly. However, I can't even get to that part when testing the Flow!

As I have another Flow set up to save the zip file (which I receive monthly by email) to the folder specified in step 1, I re-sent the email to trigger that first Flow. The zip file was saved to the folder successfully - shouldn't that be enough to trigger this next Flow? Any advice much appreciated!

    Hi @Anonymous55 ,

Based on your description, I have made a simple test.

In the test, I create a flow that is exactly same as yours, but my flow works correctly.

I suggest you could check the following points:

    1. Whether the folder paths of these actions are correct,
    2. Text in Condition action may exist extra space,
    3. Don’t save files that are too large. In my test, large files will cause error.

    Thank you @v-jefferni!

After seeing your post, I deleted the flow and then remade it this morning to make sure I'd got the folder paths etc correct. However, I still had the same problem.

In an effort to start fresh, I decided to completely empty the folder from step 1. It previously contained the zip file (which was getting overwritten each time my first flow caused the existing zip file there to be saved over), and a subfolder. I then re-sent the email to trigger my first flow (to save the zip file in the now-empty folder), then tested the zip file flow again. It worked! I'm not sure why it worked, but thought I would share in case anyone else runs into this problem 🙂

Side note: I actually need the zip file to be overwritten each month, so I was concerned that the flow would only work when the folder was empty to start with. However, I've re-tested this today and the zip file still gets successfully written over, and the new spreadsheet is pulled from the new zip file each time.
