If a user accesses a PowerApp via an MS Teams tab, they can click onto another MS Teams tab and lose all their changes.
Is there any way to prevent or ask user to confirm to switch to another tab?
Hi @wluu2 ,
Would you like to let app for Teams prompt confirmation of leaving while user leaving current App tab?
If so, I’m afraid there no way to achieve that need for now. Actually, after user left current tab, the app is still working. But since when user go into a tab it would work from the beginning, you will find that app in the tab refreshing whenever you start the app in the tab.
I found a post in Teams User Feedback Forum, in which users are talking about keep tab in memory, and I think it would resolve the issue:
https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35768761-keep-tab-in-memory-when-switching-to-chat-other
So if you like it, you could vote for it, or you could suggest an idea in PowerApps Idea Forum:

Hope this helps.

I found a workaround. You could find a button on the tab which could open a new tab in browser, then users could run the app in browser without any influence of switching tabs in Teams.
Please have a try.
