Dynamic content file name with extension cannot pick up the changed file name

Hi Guys,

After the action "When a file is created" is triggered, I change a default file name "Document" to something else.

In the body of "Send an email to" I put the dynamic content "File name with extension", but when I receive the email, the file name is still "Document".

Regards,

Deddy.

    @Anonymous:

Please post a screen shot of your Flow so that others can better assist.

I suspect that there might be a timing issue and a delay somewhere in your Flow may solve the issue.

    Hi @Anonymous,

You said that “After the action "When a file is created" is triggered, I change a default file name "Document" to something else”. Do you mean that you modified the file name after the flow is triggered?

If this is the case, I am afraid that you will not be able to get the modified file name. The file name will be the name when the flow is triggered.

Please let me know if you need more help.

    Best regards,

    Mabel

    Hi @v-yamao-msft,

Yes,  I modify the file name after the flow is triggered.

If it is not possible, could you please tell me how to have a more proper file name instead of just "Document", "Document1", etc?

What I mean is when a file is created I want Flow gives a customised format for naming the file, something like RPOG0, and when the next new file is created then the name will be RPOG1, etc.

    Regards,

    Deddy.
