'add a data source' to dependent matching field is grayed out

Hi all,
 
I'm new to PP - trying to create a dependent drop down menu.
 
 
Based on the value from field Name in dropdown_15 I want the connected field to display specific value, but 'matching field' is grayed out.
Sourced are excel tables, but they are small, it's not a size issue.
I did go through tutorials on dependent fields. What am I doing wrong?

    Unfortunately without seeing the Excel files and understanding how you added them, and the Keys you made for the tables in them etc, its hard to say.
