I change my canvas app, save it and publish it.

When I use ..

'App version history' - 'See more options for version management' - [Play]

'App version history' - 'See more options for version management' - [Home] - [Play]

.. I see the old version of the app, despite the screen saying that it was modified just seconds before

The saved URL for the app also plays the old version. The workaround I'm using is to save as a temp name, delete the original, then save the temp with the original name. The URL changes but at least it loads the most recent version.

How can I play the most recent version of the app without the URL changing ?

Hi

I have no idea why your version is changing Urls.

Go to your App

Go to Details

Grab the URL there

That always plays the latest.

You don't need to history to try to run the latest version. On the Makers.powerapps.com you can just go Apps menu on left and press play to run the latest version. Usually take some time to refresh with the new version, but you just need to wait that will notify that a new version was publish and will ask to refresh.

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm afraid neither worked.

In the end I had to clear my browser cache. I'd rather not have had to do it as I now have to clear all of the popup notifications and log into all of the websites I use but, after that, the new version played and refreshes brought in the updates
