Conditions Taking a Long Time to Run

Hello all,

I'm noticing today that my usually brief flows are taking a significantly longer amount of time to process. 

 

The slowdown seems to be around conditions which compare a simple text string. The condition seems to be calculated, but the flow just sits on the condition, not moving on for minutes at a time. 

 

Here is an example, there are no tasks to be processed if the status resolves to false (which it does), but comparing the condition took 9 minutes to complete.

Everything else in the flow is brisk and as normal - this is just affecting conditions.

 

Has anyone else seen behaviour like this?

    Same. (As of today) this flow interacts with a SharePoint List and normally takes < 3 seconds but is now taking up to 2 minutes.

    The delay is in the Apply To Each but none of the actions within are showing as taking any time; it is the loop itself which is causing the delay.

    Also seeing the same issue. Flows that did take a few seconds, now take minutes. The slowdowns seem to be on all environments (both Sandbox and Production).

    Conditions seem to be the obvious contributors to the extra time.  But seeing things like the use of scopes also swallow up extra time. The same flows were working fine about 14 hours ago.

    Could everyone affected Raise a Service health issue in Power Admin Center (assuming you have access) ? This seems like a Major issue across Power Automate, so the more people that raise it, hopefully the quicker they will get it resolved:

    Just an FYI for you, I have copied an effected solution to an environment based in another region and the issue has not reappeared. Moved from UK South to Europe.

    A lot of people won't be able to do this, but if it's an option I'd give it a try.

    My environments are also UK South based. So presumably the issue is limited to there.

    I can confirm we're also UK South. And have flagged it on admin portal  as an issue.

    Did anyone ever get a resolution for this? I'm having the same issue, and the delay in increasing every time I run the Flow. It started at 15mins, the image shows 19mins and the latest run is over 45min. Any thoughts?

    Hello @Griatsala it ended up being an infrastructure issue. There was a resource allocation issue that was eventually remedied by Microsoft. 

    You need to create a support ticket for this immediately if it is happening to you. Out of interest what region is your environment in?

    Hi @keithmcclungeip , thanks very much for the reply. I'm in Scotland, so I imagine UK West? (I'm not an Admin so can't confirm) I will ask my Admin to raise a Service health issue

    If you can also ask your admin to confirm the environment location (it can be anywhere in the world tbh), and post that here as anyone in the same location will likely experience the same thing.
