As a representative of a Health Organization, we are looking into using Chat GPT, and would like to utilize the Open AI GPT connector as described here: OpenAI GPT (Independent Publisher) - Connectors | Microsoft Learn
All we need to know is if using the connector is HIPAA compliant.
We have read that Microsoft Azure OpenAI is HIPAA compliant, but not exactly sure if that means the connector in Power Automate is HIPAA compliant if we create an automation with that connector.
Looks like that is an Open AI connector thus any queries passed through it are sent to Open AI & possibly used for training.
definitely not HIPPA compliant.
I recommend checking for the Create Text With GPT AI Builder action as that runs through a more direct prompt to a copy of the GPT model in MS Azure. Maybe there is a way to make that one HIPPA compliant.
