Flow that triggers when a comment is left on Sharepoint list with an '@' ?

We are a JV using one Sharepoint so currently 40% of people cannot receive the automated emails sent when an '@' is put in front of their name in the comments section of a Sharepoint List. Is there a workaround?

Hi,

You can use the SharePoint trigger ‘When an item is created or modified’ and set up a trigger condition based on the column of your SharePoint list.

Thanks for your response Nived, sadly, it didn't!

The issue is that these people are not from my company, as it is a joint venture project. So using the '@' doesn't send them emails at all, rather than them getting lost in a filter somewhere.

This is why I am wondering if there is a flow that can be written as a workaround.

As you said, you are mentioning users not part of your company, i assume they are external users- if they are- i think we can't mention them correct as this is the limitation of sharepoint list ?

like when you typed @and type their name, does their profile/name appeared in suggestions ?

Another way is to specify the email in the comments itself and then make the flow to capture the email id and send email to external users
