Flow Errors - Emailing from a Spreadsheet

Hello,

I'd like to create a flow which automatically emails users (email address list stored on a Teams spreadsheet) to remind them of an upcoming rehearsal. With copilot help, I've got through the steps but when testing the flow I keep getting error messages?

The spreadsheet has some of the rows which are blank - so I set up the condition that it only goes through to send the email if the email address field isn't blank. Copilot seems to think this is where the error lies.

The condition part looks like this:

Has anyone done a similar thing and can help?

Thanks in advance!
Gareth.

Hi @GM-12081511-0, Can you try using null using Power fx?

There are probably many ways to do this. Here is my attempt to help you with a minor formula.
    See screen shots with explanation.

Output of my List Rows in table

    Entire flow

Condition in the loop that determines the length of the email address provided in the table with a formula.
If it is greater than zero, flow assumes there is an email address and uses it.

    Test run ...

If you need additional help, please reply.

    Much appreciated!

    Thanks @ANB

That worked in a way, in that it now says "succeeded" but it keeps skipping the send an email part, even when there's an email address in the field?

@GM-12081511-0 You'll need to check for blank values being returned using a variable.

At the top of your flow, create a new String variable named strBlank and don't put anything in the starting value. Leave it blank. Power Automate doesn't like blanks in a comparison, but it will happily compare a value to an empty variable. Then in your Condition, compare the Excel value to your variable strBlank.
