Hi @Anonymous ,
Your account will be in the CDS default environment. So, you may use this feature. Try it. If the solution creation is failing, then, you should ask your admin to give the CDS permission.
Hi @JisungHan ,
Thanks for sharing the documents link. I read that CDS is required to create solutions and I do not have a CDS account, would the solution method still work?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please refer to the following documents:
Create a solution: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/overview-solution-flows
Create a flow in a solution: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/create-flow-solution
After that, the flow will show in the solution inside only. Hope this helps. Thanks!!
Best regards,
Jisung Han
Hi @Anonymous ,
You may deploy the PowerApps and Power automate within a solution. Then, the normal user can't see the Flow from the My Flow/Shared Flow list.

Hi @JisungHan ,
The problem remains the same as the users will still have access to the child flow. The concern is that they might accidentally delete or change the flow.
Hi @Anonymous ,
The following processes will work:
1. Create a Parent Power automate
2. Create a Child Power automate with "Run only users" as one of admin or service user account who has permission "Send-As" for the Shared Mailbox
3. Call the Parent Power automate from the PowerApps as invoking user permission
4. The Parent Power automate will call the Child Power automate. Since it has "Run only users" as one of admin or service user account's connection, it can be generated an email notification from the Shared Mailbox
Hope this helps. Thanks!
Best regards,
Jisung Han
Hi @Anonymous, if you definitely need to send notifications as a shared mailbox you have to assign send as right to everyone who runs the flow.
Hi @VictorIvanidze ,
Thanks for your response. I am designing an app for organization wide. If I assign the user who runs the flow, it would means that I will have to assign for the entire organization as the flow is triggered by PowerApps which means that I have to give owner rights to everyone for that flow but this also means anyone can edit and delete the flow. Thus, exploring if there are other alternatives.
Hi @Anonymous, to send as a shared mailbox you have to assign send as right to a user who runs the flow.
