How to add dynamic content into email body without letting power automate to add the 'apply to each' loop automatically?

Dear @abm ,

I have created a power automate flow according to your helpful video sharing as per below link:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwMo79HFvtg

And I wish to extend a little bit more by adding the dynamic content into the email body, the dynamic content should be mapped from the excel table where I have created from my earlier flow created under "List rows presents in a table'.

Below are the excel table and the dynamic content I wish to map into my email body is the "Requestor Name":-

I had tried to directly inputted the dynamic content "Requestor Name"  from my excel table into my email body, however power automate helped me to add in the "apply to each" loop automatically which I don't wish to as it created more problems after that.

Hence, may I please seek for your guidance, what step can I add into my flow in order to stop power automate from adding the apply to each loop automatically for me ? and how can I add the dynamic content "Requestor Name" into my email body where I wish when email is sending out, their name is being inputted correctly accordingly to the unique email address.

Below is the flow I created and the yellow highlighted area is where I wish to add the dynamic content "Requestor Name" which should be mapped from my excel table:-

@chloe22  how many rows are returned List rows present in table, is it just one or more than one? If its more than one, do you want to combine the requestor names from all rows and put in email?

    Hi @chloe22

@annajhaveri  thanks for your quick response here. I was dealing this with @chloe22  in another thread and discussed a bit about this.

@chloe22  Add a List rows Excel filter before the Send an email step. Under the filter set the name as 'RequestName' eq 'unique email'. In your case the compose value 'To' under the send email step and set the Top count to 1. Next map the Requestor name under the email step.

Note: If your Excel column name have spaces then you need to rename the column to RequestorName

If not use the Filter Action step.

    Thanks

    Hi @annajhaveri ,

Thank you for your help 🙂

    Hi @abm ,

Thank you for your reply 🙂

Under the filter set the name as 'RequestName' eq 'unique email'. ---> May i please confirm the 'unique email' here is it meant i should input the requestor email which present in my table? For example, 'Lilly@hotmail.com' & 'iohn@hotmail.com'? if yes i think i have 2 requestor emails have to add here. Can we do that? Or I can directly choose the dynamic content 'Requestor Email' from my excel table? As I would like to set the power automate to recognise each unique email present in my excel table and then indicate the correct requestor name when the email send out to them. So meaning, Lilly will only receive 1 email with the HTML table that only contains her items and John also will receive only 1 email that send to him with the HTML table that only contains his items.  Then both email, we could set it 'Dear Lilly/Dear John'  in our email body.

The expected outcome of email when sent to each requestor, the dynamic content of 'RequestorName' should be appeared as per below yellow highlighted:-

    2) In your case the compose value 'To' under the send email step and set the Top count to 1.---> Sorry for this sentence i dont really get to know what should i click? Compose value 'to' is it referring to the outputs that i highlighted below? That's the outputs from my previous step under my flow i selected from "Each Email". And the next question is how can we set it as Top count 1? If there is a print screen step from you regarding this step would be much appreciated.

    3) If your Excel column name have spaces then you need to rename the column to RequestorName. ---> yes yes, my excel column name has space and I had renamed it to without space as per your guidance.

Looking forward to hear from you.

    Many thanks in advance!
