I know dataverse tables can support calendar views https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/user/calendar-view#view-the-calendar-by-day-week-or-month but is there a way to re-use the data within the table to create an iCal which could be subscribed by tools like Outlook or other calendar apps for updates or new events being added to the table?
You can use Power Automate flow to create a Calendar Event using the "Office 365 Outlook" connector every time someone creates a new relevant record in the Dataverse.
Create similar flows to handle events for change and delete the record to cover all the use cases.
You can share this calendar with your colleagues or even use the Outlook feature to distribute it to the public using Webdav server.
I might be misunderstanding the solution but would that create the events in my calendar? I was hoping for a solution that was not dependent on a particular user
You can choose the calendar from the set available for the user who is set as the connector for the flow. It can be a shared calendar, not your personal one, and the flow may be executed not from the context of your user but from the service one.
