Hoping someone can help with combination of Canvas app + D365FO
My first app - so please be patient 🙂 - I have tried to document that I have done with images 🙂
- I created a Canvas app and set the following ONSTART at the APP level
- I believe this is what I need to do to
- Set a Variable that I can then use to later filter by the Customer number passed from D365FO
- Set variable that I can then use to later filter by the Legal entity value passed from D365FO
- I believe this is what I need to do to
- I added 2 text fields to just show that it is actually populating the variables correctly
- I then applied FILTER at the DATATABLE level to filter the returned information based on the 2 variables
- I added the apps into D365FO and ran it
- Worked - it ran
- Worked - it returns the 2 variables
- Didn't work - there is no data returned - for some reason it doesn't like the filter applied to the DATATABLE??
Can anyone assist?
