Buenas estimados;

I'm working on a Power Automate flow to capture all the invoices created and saved within a folder in Dropbox. The default trigger works fine in my process, but the issue I'm facing is that it only captures new files within the selected folder and doesn't consider those created within subfolders. I wanted to know if you could help me improve the trigger so that it can include all the internal folders.

After that, the flow extracts the data from those invoices using AI and saves the file in a SharePoint folder. It also uses a condition to only consider files in PDF format.

I would appreciate your assistance in enhancing the trigger to include all internal folders.

Thank you."

    Hi @Anonymous

    As you can read in official documentation here: Dropbox - Connectors | Microsoft Learn You need to create different triggers for each folder.

    I would use a parent-child workflow approach.

    1) Create a parent flow for each folder you need to trigger the worflow.

    2) Call a child flow that has the same logic.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi @fchopo;

    Thank you very much for your response. I wanted to ask you one more question. Do you have any instructions on how to set up the parent-child workflow approach?

    Thank you very much in advance.
