Hi fellow flow makers,

I'm currently in the process of creating a rather simple flow.

I have power usage data which gets e-mailed to me on a weekly basis, which i am currently manually updating in my Power Bi report.

However i want to create a flow which saves the attached .xlsx report and uploads it to a sharepoint site

I can get the flow to work, reacting to the correct e-mail etc, heck a file even gets uploaded.

However there seems to be some kind of mishappening going on - the file that i "upload" is not in the correct format, i tried labelling the file in the flow with .xlsx, .csv and with no label - without success. The format which is uploadet seems corrupted and the file type is just "File"

In the "file content" under "create file - i tried various dynamic content as: "attachment file" "attachment content"

I am using the following template: Save my email attachments to a SharePoint document library | Microsoft Power Automate as im a nooberino 😉

@kristianpeter95 inside apply to each action before Create File action, please add Get Attachment action and configure it as follows:

In Create File action file content parameter, use Body from Get Attachment dynamic content

Also use the extension. xlsx, in the file name.

Thankyou for the reply -

I tried what u suggested and the test reported "A file with the name Orstedexport/export1.xlsx already exists. It was last modified by xxxxx"

The file however still gets uploaded, and i checked that no actual file with the same name was on the destination site. - the file is however still corrupted somehow.. 😕

Additionally i would actually prefer that i can upload files with the same name, and make them overwrite any identical filenames - is that possible? 🙂

Hi Kristian Peter, I want to get the sharepoint site usage data emailed to me on a weekly basis in a file. How do we do that. Will you be able to provide some steps. I dont have any coding background but any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance.
