Hi Everyone,

I want to create a system in Excel where the content of cell 2 in the current open Excel file is used to determine and open another Excel file with the same name from a different folder. Here's a rephrased explanation:

"I need to set up an Excel automation where the value in cell 2 of the currently open Excel file using (Get files in folders) is used to identify and open a different Excel file located in a separate folder. For example, if cell 2 in the current file contains the word 'Apple,' the system should automatically open a file with the name 'Apple_123.xlsx' from a other specified folder."

How to achieve this - Please help

First, read the Excel in which cell 2 you required.
this Excel data will be stored in a data table
take the value(Like Exceldata[0][2]) that you want in a variable
Now use launch excel activity and Give the path like %variable%_123.xlsx

Hi Usha,

I'm facing a challenge while attempting to open files retrieved using the 'Get Files in Folders' action and implementing a 'For Each' loop. Please refer to the attached snapshot for a clearer understanding of the situation.

File - it will open one by one - If ex its open and read in cell 2 as apple12344.xls and i want in file2 it should open any file name cantinas with Apple only not the 1st one.
